Claypool's Draft History
Chase Claypool was selected in the second round(49th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Claypool played college football at Notre Dame, where he was a standout wide receiver. He caught 66 passes for 1,037 yards and 13 touchdowns in his final season with the Fighting Irish.
Claypool's NFL Career
Claypool has played three seasons in the NFL, all with the Steelers. He has recorded 136 catches for 1,852 yards and 11 touchdowns in his career. Claypool is a big and physical wide receiver, standing 6'4" and weighing 238 pounds. He is also a very good athlete and has the ability to make big plays down the field.
